Enhanced CDs

An Enhanced Compact Disc (ECD) is a new multimedia delivery format that combines the best of audio CD with the best of visual CD. ECD's are albums that contain not only the audio tracks you can play in your audio CD player, but also have a multimedia track that plays visuals and audio when you put it in your computer's CD player. Corbitt Design produced two ECD's for the soundtrack to the new feature film "Within the Rock," and Orchestral version and a Rock version. The band for the rock soundtrack is KURV (lead man Tony Fennell, formerly of Ultravox). The orchestral score for the film was composed by Rod Gammons and Tony Fennell and recorded with the London Philharmonic.

The two ECDs for "Within the Rock" contain footage from the film, a backstage tour of the special effects workshop, interviews with KURV, pages from the shooting script, bios of the actors, and much more. The Enhanced CD's are published by G2 Music and Prime Direction International and are being distributed worldwide.
